We’ve upgraded the paper QR insert that comes in your Dream Pilot Magic Kneeboard package.

Previously, the QR code took you to a simple registration page so you could register your kneeboard and activate the extra 2-year guarantee.

Now, it does that and unlocks your new Kneeboard Companion hub — a free set of pilot-friendly tools designed to make every flight easier, safer, and more structured.

What you get when you scan the new QR code

1) AI Checklists (Smart Step Verification)

This is the centerpiece.

Instead of hunting for the “right” checklist or trying to adapt a generic one mid-flight planning, you can generate a clean, checkbox-based checklist in seconds—and make it yours.

What it does:

  • Quick Select: choose a supported aircraft model (and we’ll keep expanding the list)

  • Instantly generates a step-by-step checklist with checkboxes

  • Edit the checklist to match your aircraft, club SOP, or personal flow

  • Export as PDF for printing or saving on your device

  • Save your checklists for fast reuse later

Custom Scenario mode (tailored to your situation)

Flying isn’t always standard conditions—so your checklist shouldn’t be either.

Describe the scenario in plain language, for example:
“Winter operations: de-icing procedures with active snowfall at -5°C.”

You’ll get a tailored checklist draft you can refine and save. It’s a fast way to prepare for the real-world variables that don’t fit neatly into a one-size-fits-all list.

Reminder: Generated checklists are a planning/training aid—always verify with your aircraft POH/AFM and approved procedures.

2) Flight Self-Assessment (Debrief) — perfect for students & proficiency flying

After a flight (lesson, solo, or proficiency), do a quick structured debrief:
