Dream Pilot Magic Kneeboard Passes USA Military-Grade Durability Test!

We’re thrilled to share some major news: the Dream Pilot Magic Kneeboard has officially passed MIL-STD-810G Method 516 testing!

Military-grade testing protocols, often labeled as MIL-SPEC or MIL-STD, were established to support standardization goals set by the U.S. Department of Defense. These protocols, maintained by the various military branches, are widely adopted across industries to assess a product’s durability and performance in extreme or challenging conditions.

One such test, MIL-STD-810G Method 516.6 (commonly known as the Transit Drop Test), involves dropping a device 26 times—covering all faces, edges, and corners—onto a 2-inch plywood surface placed over concrete. To meet the standard, the product must show no functional damage or structural failure after completing the series of drops.

What does this mean for pilots?

It means that our kneeboard isn’t just versatile and compact—it’s now certified to endure the realities of turbulent cockpits and demanding flight conditions.

The Dream Pilot Magic Kneeboard will hold your device securely and reliably. It uses ultra-strong magnets, fits all smartphones and tablets (yes, even with or without MagSafe), and attaches firmly to your leg with a soft, elastic strap for comfort during long flights.

And now, with proven durability that meets military testing standards, you can count on it even more.

This certification is not just a badge—it’s a reflection of our commitment to safety, quality, and making the best kneeboard on the market.
